Is it common to quick claim a house to the executor of a will?
March 4th, 2010 by admin
My mother’s will states the house will be sold and the proceeds divided between 7 children after bills paid. My cousin, a CPA is the executor of the will and wants us 7 kids to quick claim the house to him so he can sell it ad pay the bills and divide the rest between us 7 children.
My cousin said it was my mother’s lawyer’s suggestion this way the could avoid probate…any help out there???
