Landlord Repossession Will This Affect Credit Rating?

My private landlord has a court date for repossession of the house I am renting. If I am unable to find somewhere else to rent before this date will the subsequent court action affect my credit rating?
Hi, thank you for all your answers so far. I do not have a written contract with my landlord, only verbal.
Addressed, To The Occupiers, I have received a Notice Of Commencement Of Possession Proceedings, these proceedings are in my landlords name and all previous post from this company also comes to this address. A gentleman looking for my landlord called at the property wanting to know who I was, how much rent I was paying and that because I had only a verbal agreement I would have to leave the property if repossessed. Many thanks in advance for further answers.
