Quick house sale

My mother and me met this barrister woman who was in desperate need of £25 to stay in some doss house. That day she had her home repossessed for the amount of over £9000. She clams that she had paid the amount of money but only missed a couple of payments last year because she was sick and had to have a hysterectomy. She has proof that she paid her mortgage to abbey from her paying out book at the principality she got a print out of her direct debts to prove that she had paid her mortgage. Abbey National claim that the barrister lady had not paid the mortgage for some time that’s why the amount is 9000 in arrears but the proof states that she is only 1800 in arrears. The Judge on the day did not except her evidence to prove that her mortgage had been paid. So abbey won and repossessed her house. This barrister lady is now staying with my mum for a few days, as we were worried about her health. She was mentally all over the place and was talking about committing suicide.
She has already apealed to the High Court in Cardiff and failed. What steps can she take now to get her property back now? I think there is more going on then what she’s saying. It just doens’t add up.
